Our top list is updated automatically every night and combines four signals to answer one question: which AI model is hottest right now?

How the overall score (0–100) is calculated

Each signal is weighted equally (25%) and normalized to a 0–100 scale. The arrow next to the score shows whether the model has moved up, down, or stayed stable since yesterday's list.

Search trends

We measure how often people google each model name and related search terms over the past week. Rising volume signals growing interest.

Benchmarks

Official scores on MMLU, GPQA, HumanEval, SWE-bench and similar tests. Captures raw capability in reasoning, code and knowledge.

Developer popularity

Activity on GitHub, Hacker News, X/Twitter and Reddit. Shows what the people actually building with AI are picking right now.

News mentions

Frequency and tone in tech press over the last 7 days. Launches, price changes and controversies all move the needle.

How often is the ranking updated?+

Every day at 06:00 UTC. An AI pipeline collects the day's signals, recomputes the scores and publishes the result automatically.

How is the score calculated?+

We combine four independent signals — search trends, benchmarks, developer popularity and news — into an overall score between 0 and 100. Each signal is weighted equally (25%).

Is the ranking objective?+

It's algorithmic and not influenced by sponsorship. Some links are affiliate links and are clearly marked with rel="sponsored".

Which models can appear on the list?+

All major public AI models from vendors like OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, xAI, DeepSeek, Mistral, Cohere, Alibaba and Microsoft.
